About Foot Prints
Foot Prints is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering inner city youth who are navigating environments shaped by violence, limited resources, and systemic challenges. Our work is rooted in mentorship, unity, and real-world guidance that helps young people break cycles and build stronger, more stable futures.
The organization was founded by someone who grew up immersed in gang culture and substance abuse at an early age. By the age of fifteen, his voice and influence were already known throughout South East San Diego. After serving two prison sentences and experiencing the loss of several close friends, a transformation began that shifted his focus from survival to purpose.
That personal turning point revealed a deeper responsibility to become a voice of change. Rather than allowing the past to define the future, Foot Prints was created to reach those still navigating the same pressures and environments that once led to incarceration and loss. We exist to provide guidance where it is often missing, focusing on mentorship over judgment, accountability over punishment, and growth over labels while helping youth build confidence, discipline, and long-term vision.
Founded in 2017, Foot Prints continues to build trust within the community while preparing to expand programs and resources for the 2026 calendar year. With the support of mentors, partners, and surrounding communities, we believe lasting change is possible through consistent presence, unity, and commitment to the next generation.
